New Hampshire is full of scenic byways and beautiful parks. There are many campgrounds located throughout the state, including State Park campgrounds. Take a road trip and stay at one of the best campgrounds New Hampshire has to offer.

Harbor Hill Camping Area

Dedicated to friendly service and cleanliness, Harbor Hill staff will be happy to help with suggesting restaurants and sightseeing locations nearby. This pet-friendly campsite includes an unsupervised pool, onsite parking, children’s playground, and quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Campfires here must be completely extinguished by 11:30pm.

AMC Cold River Camp

This facility is nearly 100 years old, providing a rustic family stay and plenty of adventure. The AMC Cold River Camp is a hiking camp with old-fashioned cabins. These cabins do not offer electricity or running water, though these modern amenities are available at the community bath houses, restrooms, and main lodge. This location offers three daily meals, at least two guided hikes per day, and after dinner activities. It focuses on social activity, allowing you to meet other guests during your stay.

Mi-Te-Jo Campground

The owners of Mi-Te-Jo campground are also the operators, providing a very personal level of service for guests. Large campsites and well-kept facilities include a new disc golf course, two lakeside beaches for swimming, canoe rental, kayak rental, and paddleboats. Fishing, hiking, athletic fields, and game rooms are just a few more of the many things to do at Mi-Te-Jo. This campground is pet-friendly and offers electricity, cable TV, and cabin rental options for your stay.

Pemi River Campground

The Pemi river campground offers camping sites, cabins, hook-up, and pull-thru sites for your family’s stay. Playgrounds and river activities are enjoyed at this pet-friendly place. This site offers miniature golf and WiFi, and is conveniently located just 10 to 20 minutes away from various New Hampshire attractions.

Fransted Family Campground

Place your tent along the river and enjoy a peaceful stay at the Fransted Family Campground. The grounds are clean, have lots to do, and include beautiful hiking trails. Bathrooms, showers, fishing, biking, and athletic fields are available at this pet-friendly location.

Wakeda Campground LLC

Located about 20 minutes away from Hampton Beach, Wakeda offers over 400 sites for cabins, tents, pull-thrus, and trailer hookups. Wakeda also offers restrooms, showers, children’s playground, a miniature golf course, and a dog park. Pets are allowed and a morning coffee shop makes for a great stay at Wakeda.

Pawtuckaway State Park

The Pawtuckaway State Park is located just off the shore of the stunning Pawtuckaway Lake. It has 192 available camping sites, including many with lake views. Coin-operated showers available 24/7, campsite picnic tables, running water, and onsite parking are all included. Canoe rentals, kayak rentals and cabin rentals are also available. Pets are not allowed.
